Production

Two plants, four dedicated lines

Each line is built for a single product category and process, so ambient and chilled products never share equipment, schedules or risk profiles.

Food safety and quality

Every batch released by the quality team, never assumed.

Food safety is engineered into each line and verified on every batch. The same controls apply whether a product carries the Verdane brand or a customer's own label.

  1. Continuous critical control points

Each line has defined critical control points that are monitored continuously: UHT temperature on the drinks line, pasteurisation on desserts, cook temperature on soups and HPP pressure on spreads.

  2. Verified metal detection

Metal detection on every line, with detector performance verified against certified test pieces at defined intervals.

  3. Batch traceability by lot number

Full traceability from raw material intake to finished pallet, keyed on lot number, supporting rapid and precise recall simulation and customer enquiries.

  4. Positive release

No batch leaves the plant until the quality team has reviewed process records and test results and formally released it.

Private label development

From brief to first delivery, one accountable process

We develop products for retailers' own brands on the same lines and under the same quality system as our own range. Nine defined steps take a project from customer brief to the first order on your shelf.
